Make sure to check out our museum café to complete your visit! The café is located on the top floor of the museum and has a beautiful rooftop terrace. From here you have stunning views of the river, the iconic bridges and the Riverpark of Nijmegen.

High above the bustle of the city, you can relax and daydream for a moment. You can see all the way from Valkhof Park to the Waal; with its three bridges, the floodplains, and across Veur-Lent. Imagine how the Romans already sailed here in galleys. For a brief moment, envision the Waalkade in 1860... and enjoy the present! 

This historic location makes a great backdrop for private and corporate events. Pura offers suitable catering for your event. The museum café is therefore the perfect location for staff meetings, (business) lunches, and company and family outings. 

The museum café is free to access; without a museum visit.

Monday to Wednesday: 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM. 

Thursday to Sunday: 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. 

During school holidays: Monday to Sunday: 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
